Avello Group was engaged by Kaplan Business School to deliver a comprehensive multi-level interior painting program across its Melbourne campus during the school holiday period.

The project required careful planning and execution to ensure all works were completed within a tight shutdown window, allowing the facility to reopen fully operational and presented to a high standard for the commencement of the new term.

Scope of Works

The scope included repainting multiple internal levels and key learning spaces, with works tailored to suit a live education environment, including:

• Repainting of classrooms, corridors and common areas
• Feature walls and high-traffic zones
• Touch-up and rectification of existing defects
• Application of low-VOC, durable coating systems
• Final detailed clean and quality assurance inspections

Delivery Strategy

• After-hours and restricted access protocols

• Daily QA checks and handover documentation

Outcome

The project was successfully completed within the holiday shutdown period, allowing Kaplan Business School to reopen on schedule with refreshed, modernised learning spaces that enhance both student and staff experience.
