Project Overview

Avello Group has been engaged to deliver a comprehensive external repaint across Goodman's Port+ Business Park, a prominent five-building industrial and commercial estate at Port Melbourne. The works follow a newly developed estate-wide colour scheme and are being carried out to refresh the precinct's presentation while protecting exposed building fabric across a highly visible, publicly accessible site.

Scope of Works

• External repainting to Buildings 1–5, including all elevations, awning undersides and soffits
• Surface preparation, patching and render texture-matching to achieve a consistent, defect-free finish
• Masking and protection of façade-mounted fixtures, signage, lighting and external services throughout the works
• Removal, repainting and reinstatement of operational signage (fire doors, CCTV, no-smoking, etc.)
• Height access via EWP, rope access or scaffold, supported by a full pedestrian, traffic and council permit management plan
• Full-time on-site supervision of all subcontractors for the duration of the project

Products & Systems Used

Application in strict accordance with the project's Dulux Project Specification, with all products tracked on-site via Dulux's Project Activity Card system to ensure full compliance and traceability. No substitution of specified coating systems is permitted without written sign-off from Goodman and Dulux.

Outcome

The project delivered:

• Unified, refreshed façade treatment across all five buildings within Port+ Business Park
• Improved the estate's street presence along a heavily trafficked public frontage
• Safeguarded external substrates against ongoing weather exposure
• Strong emphasis on safety, waste diversion, and minimal disruption to estate tenants and the surrounding public realm
