Project Overview

Avello Group carried out a full exterior repaint and associated remedial works to the strata apartment building at 2-4 Yarra Street, Geelong. The scope required a combination of thorough surface preparation, rust treatment to exposed metal elements, and rope access to safely and effectively reach upper-level and hard-to-access sections of the building. Works were delivered using premium Dulux coatings, restoring the building's exterior finish and protecting it against ongoing weathering.

Scope of Works

• Full exterior preparation across all elevations, including removal of flaking and failed paintwork, filling of cracks and imperfections, and sanding of surfaces
• Rust treatment to affected metal components, including railings, fixings and other exposed steelwork
• Rope access deployed to safely reach upper-level and hard-to-reach areas of the building
• Pressure washing of all surfaces prior to preparation and painting
• Full exterior repaint using premium Dulux coating systems across walls, trims and painted surfaces
• Site set-up, safety planning and access management maintained throughout works to minimise disruption to residents
