Scope of Works

Avello Group was engaged to deliver comprehensive remedial repairs and façade restoration to this iconic 1960s multi-level strata building in Toorak. The project involved addressing significant paint delamination issues and applying a complete repaint of the building exterior.

As the works progressed, several latent conditions were uncovered—common in buildings of this era. Avello proactively identified practical solutions and value engineering opportunities to manage variations and reduce costs, all while maintaining quality standards.

• Investigation and treatment of extensive paint delamination
• Substrate preparation and surface rectification
• Full façade repainting
• Protective coatings to all metalwork and steel elements

Products Used

• Dulux Acratex Acrashield – applied across all rendered and masonry surfaces for long-term durability and weather protection
• Dulux Metalshield Epoxy Enamel – used to coat all steelwork, providing superior corrosion resistance
