Project Overview

Avello Group did a full exterior repaint of the apartment building at 136 Ernest Jones Drive, Macleod. The scope covered preparation and repainting of all external surfaces, with particular attention to the first-floor timber windows, concrete lintels, and the concrete banding between the ground and first floors.

Scope of Works

The works comprised:

• Preparation and painting to the exterior of the apartment building
• Cleaning of all external surfaces to be painted
• Removal of all blisters, runs and flaking paint
• Undercoating prior to filling or painting
• Treatment of rust from metal works, coated with rust-protective coating
• Filling of gaps, cracks and imperfections with premium filling products
• Sanding of all flat surfaces, with sanding between coats
• Undercoating of all fillers and bare timbers
• 1st Floor Timber Windows & Concrete Lintels
• Concrete Banding between Ground & 1st Floor
• Scaffolding and access equipment supplied for the duration of the works

Outcome

The project refreshed the building's façade, protecting and restoring the timber windows, concrete lintels and banding, with all debris removed from site on completion.
