What is rope access painting and how does it work?

Rope access painting is a method of reaching high-rise and hard-to-access building elevations using trained technicians descending on industrial rope systems from the roof — rather than using scaffolding or elevated work platforms. Avello Group’s rope access technicians hold IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association) certification, the internationally recognised standard for rope access work. Once positioned, they can paint, coat, repair, clean and inspect any elevation of the building. Rope access is typically 30–60% cheaper than equivalent scaffolding programs, can be mobilised within days, and causes no disruption to ground-level operations, tenants or residents.
